About Us
The One Delta Plaza Educational Center (ODPEC) was founded in 1989 by members of the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as a vehicle to develop and implement programs that serve the needs of the local community.
High on the priority of ODPEC’s goals is the central objective to promote and fund programs which nurture and guide children and young people to become successful leaders in today and tomorrow’s multi-faceted and diverse world through leadership development and college preparatory program initiatives. This non-profit community foundation was designed in order to expand its outreach mission to ensure that its efforts were crafted exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.
ODPEC is approved and classified as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
ODPEC is the leading philanthropic force responsible for the ownership, operation, and maintenance of the building referred to as, “One Delta Plaza,” located at:
